Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

1. Overview

GoMob (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and optional profile details such as a display name and avatar.

Calendar and event content

We store the events, descriptions, images, dates, locations, and other content you add to your calendars so that we can display and share them according to your visibility settings.

Usage and device data

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) and may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the site. This helps us improve performance and fix bugs.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and improve GoMob’s calendar hosting service;
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, calendar notifications, and inactivity warnings);
  • To respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Use;
  • To analyze aggregate usage trends and diagnose technical issues.

4. Calendar Visibility and Public Data

Calendars marked Public are accessible to anyone with the link. The calendar name, event details, cover images, and other content you publish may be viewed, indexed by search engines, or shared by third parties. We recommend using PIN or Login visibility for sensitive content.

We do not proactively share private calendars with third parties. Only you and the users you authorize can access non-public calendars.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers who process data solely on our behalf under strict confidentiality.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and safety.
  • Business transfers: If GoMob is acquired or merges with another company, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and calendar content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Free accounts with no published events and no login activity for an extended period may be subject to our inactivity reclaim policy, after which the associated data is deleted.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can update most information directly in your account settings. To request deletion or a data export, email us at support@gomob.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

9. Children’s Privacy

GoMob is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
