Terms of Use
Last updated: June 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GoMob (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Free Accounts
Free accounts may create and manage calendars at no cost. However, Free-tier calendars are published under a subfolder path (e.g., gomob.com/u/your-name) rather than a bare vanity URL. Custom short URLs (e.g., gomob.com/your-name) are a feature reserved for paid Solo, Pro, and Organization plans.
When you sign up, we reserve your chosen username so no one else can take it. You keep that username even if you remain on a Free plan or downgrade later.
4. Username Inactivity and Reclaiming
To prevent username squatting and keep good names available for active users, we enforce an inactivity reclaim policy:
- If a Free account has zero published events and remains completely inactive for 75 consecutive days, we send an email warning that the username will be released.
- If there is still no activity within 14 days of that warning, the username is released and may be claimed by another user.
- Accounts on paid plans (Solo, Pro, or Organization) are exempt from inactivity reclaiming as long as the subscription is active.
- Publishing an event, logging in, or making any meaningful account activity resets the inactivity timer.
5. Reserved and Blocked Usernames
We maintain a list of reserved usernames (e.g., common brand names, service terms, admin paths) that cannot be registered. Additionally, our administrators may block specific usernames at any time to prevent impersonation, abuse, or trademark infringement.
If you believe a username was blocked in error, contact us at support@gomob.com.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use GoMob to:
- Publish illegal, defamatory, harassing, or hateful content;
- Impersonate another person or organization;
- Engage in spam, phishing, or fraud;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account;
- Upload malware or interfere with the service’s infrastructure.
Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination, with or without notice.
7. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the events, images, and text you upload. By using GoMob, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute your calendar content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
8. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds except where required by law.
Downgrading from a paid plan to Free does not remove your existing calendars or events, but your public URL will revert to the subfolder format and some premium features may be restricted.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
GoMob is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if you have a Free account.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
